Luxury Jungle Safari Resort in Bandhavgarh National Park
Mahua Kothi, at Bandhavgarh National Park is set in Umaria, Madhya Pradesh. The treasured and revered Mahua tree gave rise to the name of the Mahua Kothi, or homestead.
A 45-acre private forest surrounds this jungle safari resort in Bandhavgarh National Park, which features 12 luxury villas that stand alone. The guest area looks out into a sizable grassland where colourful birds and monkeys are common sights. The “Kutiyas,” or mud huts, are constructed using the regional architectural design.
The ideal place to cool down during the midday sun is a bean-shaped pool that is surrounded by a bamboo thicket and Mahua trees. A sizable brick structure with extensive verandas and a view of a grassland surrounded by a woodland patch houses the guest areas.
