Day 1 – Delhi
the Palace on Wheels begins at Delhi Cantt. Railway Station , where you are greeted with a warm, traditional welcome. Dinner is served onboard and you begin your journey towards Jaipur. Stay overnight on board.
Day 2 – Jaipur
On arrival at Jaipur, the Pink City, you are welcomed by elephants and the sound of Shehnai music. Explore the famous Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar (the largest observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh), Nahargarh Fort, Amber Fort, and more. Return to the train around 18:30 hrs for dinner, and the train departs for Jaisalmer. Stay overnight on board.
Day 3 – Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer, renowned for its golden fort made of yellow sandstone, awaits your exploration. Visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmalji Ki Haveli, both stunning examples of intricate architecture. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel safari through the sand dunes. Dinner under the moonlit sky on the dunes adds to the magical experience. Attend a cultural performance in a hotel, then return to the train, which departs for Jodhpur. Stay overnight on board.
Day 4 – Jodhpur
Arrive in Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan, surrounded by a massive stone wall and seven gates. Discover Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana, and Daulat Khana. After sightseeing, return to the Palace on Wheels, which departs for Sawai Madhopur. Stay overnight on board.
Day 5 – Sawai Madhopur & Chittorgarh
Visit Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur, famous for its tigers and other wildlife. After your safari, return to the train and proceed to Chittorgarh, the city of bravery and romance. Explore the 7th-century Chittorgarh Fort, Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory), and Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame). After the visit, return to the Palace on Wheels, and the train departs for Udaipur. Stay overnight on board.
Day 6 – Udaipur
Arrive in Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Visit its beautiful palaces, forts, and temples, including the stunning marble Palaces of Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and Jag Mandir on Lake Pichhola. After sightseeing, return to the Palace on Wheels, which departs for Bharatpur. Stay overnight on board.
Day 7 – Bharatpur & Agra
Arrive in Bharatpur early in the morning and enjoy a visit to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park (Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary), known for its variety of migratory birds, including Siberian Cranes. Continue to Fatehpur Sikri to explore a mosque dedicated to Sheikh Salim Chishti, a Sufi saint. After lunch in Agra, visit the Taj Mahal, the iconic symbol of love. Dinner is served onboard as the train heads back to Delhi. Stay overnight on board.
Day 8 – Delhi
The luxury train arrives at Delhi Cantt. Railway Station the next morning. After breakfast onboard, your unforgettable journey concludes.
